Michael Staff (b. 1983) is a composer and pianist based in California's Inland Empire. Called "Brilliant and intellectual, yet sensitive" (Nancy Bricard, Professor Emeritus at USC Thronton School of Music), his music combines elements of art, literature, poetry, and philosophy in an effort to express the many facets of the human experience.

Michael has recorded several of the pieces to be included in his new album, whcih is planned on being released in both vinyl and digital formats.

Michael was commissioned by artist Mary Ince to compose a work for string quartet as the final work in her series in which she paints musical works onto canvas. The painting was unveiled with the premiere of the music at the University of Redlands Art Gallery.
