In addition to being a composer and pianist, Michael is also a devoted instructor, music theorist, and mathematician, focusing on abstract fields such as group theory and formal logic. As an explorer of the relationships between musical and mathematical elements, he emphasizes these intersections within his compositions and recital programs.

Michael was awarded a gold medal in the 2018 Golden Classical Music Awards and will subsequently be performing at Carnegie Hall on November 3, 2018.

He was also awarded a bronze medal in the Global Music Awards for his recording of J.S. Bach's Art of Fugue.

New Album
